Further to the Prime Minister’s statement on 16th March 2020, we have decided to suspend all charity operations until further notice.
We have taken the difficult decision to close our workshops from 17th March 2020. We operate in a complex environment and the needs of our clients are varied. In addition, we recognise that as the coronavirus pandemic continues, we, like many businesses and charities, will start to experience challenges to our resilience as we are a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers. Our priority remains to keep our clients, volunteers and staff safe and well.
Whilst our workshops are closed, we will be continuing to support our clients through weekly phone calls and will continue to do what we can, for as long as we can. We will be operating remotely via a small skeleton staff.
Should any of our staff, clients or volunteers experience a new continuous cough or high temperature, we ask that you let us know by emailing our offices at email@example.com or calling the office on 01225 313240.
Additionally, we have taken the decision to close our Southgate shop with immediate effect. We will continue trading via our online shop: www.woodworksshop.com. For any furniture donations, we ask that you send some photos of your furniture to firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of our team will reply to confirm whether we can accept your kind donation.
Please bear with us, as our ability to collect or deliver furniture will be very limited, and our responses to you are not going to be as timely as we would like - we are operating with a very small, skeleton staff.
