Cabinet Making/Woodworking Tutor
The tutor is required to teach woodwork and furniture making skills to our clients. We therefore require an experienced professionally trained cabinet maker or similar, to teach traditional cabinet making skills to our clients. The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of professional woodworking machinery, power and hand tools. Teaching experience an advantage but not essential.
As our charity projects accommodate people with a variety of mental and physical health conditions, creating a stimulating and challenging environment for staff. The Furniture Tutor must be able to empathise with our clients and is expected to adapt training to their individual needs in an encouraging and supportive manner. This may include the designing and making of jigs and working aids to ensure all clients can participate fully in our projects.
Salary in the range of £22,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on experience.

PART-TIME - No current vacancies
We are looking for volunteer assistants to work in The Woodworks Project shop in Southgate Street, Bath. Their duties will be assisting the shop manager with the day-to-day running of the shop, including making and recording sales, customer service and helping with the upkeep and appearance of the shop premises.
The shop is the public face of our charity and generates vital income, which goes toward the funding of our project and ensures we can continue to help disadvantaged people in our area.
We will be looking for friendly and enthusiastic people, who are able to commit to at least one half day per week for a minimum of six months.

Van Delivery Assistants
We require delivery assistants to work alongside our delivery drivers delivering and collecting furniture. We make deliveries on Wednesdays and Fridays and are looking for people who are able to commit to one or both of those days.
